How to Set Up a 4G Mobile Proxy in Undetectable (Undetectable.io)

Undetectable is a popular anti-detect browser for running many separate browser profiles, each with its own fingerprint. Give each profile a dedicated 4G mobile proxy and it also gets a trusted, consistent mobile IP — the combination most account managers, agencies and ad buyers rely on. Here's how to set it up properly, including IP rotation.

What you need from your dashboard

From your ProProxies dashboard, copy:

Proxy type — HTTP or SOCKS5
Host and port
Username and password
Your rotation link (the URL that gives your proxy a new IP)

Step 1: Open the profile's proxy settings

In Undetectable, click + New Profile (or open the settings of an existing profile) and go to the General tab. In the proxy section, open the dropdown and choose New Proxy.

Step 2: Choose the protocol

Pick HTTP or SOCKS5 to match your proxy. The protocol must match exactly — a SOCKS5 proxy entered as HTTP (or the other way round) simply won't connect.

Step 3: Paste your proxy details

Undetectable accepts the whole proxy as one line, in several formats. The easiest is:

host:port:login:password

It also accepts host:port|login:password, host:port@login:password, login:password@host:port and a few other variations, so you can usually paste straight from your dashboard.

Step 4: Add your IP Change Link

This is what makes a mobile proxy so useful. Paste your ProProxies rotation link into the IP Change Link field. You'll then be able to give the profile a fresh mobile IP with the Change IP button, without leaving Undetectable.

If you automate with Undetectable's bots, there's also a Use link for IP change option that changes the IP before each profile launch.

Step 5: Check the proxy

Click the check button next to the proxy. When it works, a country flag appears and the Google, Facebook and Yandex icons light up green. Then give the proxy a name (for example "UK EE 1") and save.

If the check fails, re-copy the password, confirm the port, and make sure the protocol matches.

Step 6: Make the profile consistent

A good proxy can still be let down by a profile that contradicts itself. Before you log in to anything:

Config / OS — choose a config that matches the device you're pretending to be, and leave the default fingerprint settings alone unless you have a reason to change them.
Timezone, geolocation and language — all should match the proxy's country. A UK mobile IP with a US timezone and Russian language is an instant red flag.
WebRTC and DNS — check that WebRTC doesn't reveal extra addresses and that DNS requests aren't going through your real internet provider.

Step 7: Match the OS fingerprint

Websites can also guess your operating system from the network connection itself — the TCP/IP fingerprint — not just from the browser. If your Undetectable profile is a Windows config but the connection looks like Linux, that's a mismatch.

With ProProxies you can switch your proxy's OS fingerprint to Windows, macOS, iOS or Android. Set it to the same operating system as the profile's config.

When to rotate (and when not to)

Logging in, warming up accounts, checking out, or any manual work: keep the same IP. Rotating on a timer in the middle of a session does more harm than good.
Research, scraping or creating fresh sessions: rotate between tasks with Change IP or the rotation link.

Common mistakes

Wrong protocol — the most common reason a proxy "doesn't work".
Several important accounts on one IP — platforms link accounts that share an IP. Give key accounts their own proxy.
Timezone or language that doesn't match the proxy — easily avoided, often missed.
Rotating while logged in — a sudden IP jump looks unnatural.
Mixing mobile configs with a desktop fingerprint (or the other way round) — keep the whole profile consistent, including the proxy's OS fingerprint.
